Financial Assistance

St. Matthew’s has a need-based assistance program and we encourage families with concerns about tuition costs to inquire about our financial assistance program. St. Matthew’s determines eligibility for admission independent of a student’s application for financial assistance. To help our evaluation, families are asked to submit a variety of financial information, such as family size, income, savings, expenses and assets. St. Matthew’s uses an independent company to estimate the relative need of the applicants and then uses these estimates, along with other relevant information, to make our financial assistance award decisions. Financial assistance grants are made on an annual basis and families are required to apply yearly. Applying for financial assistance does not guarantee eligibility and the amount of aid offered will depend on the families’ financial circumstances, our available financial assistance funds and our policies.
