Cindy Thornton is beginning her 17th year of teaching at St. Matthew’s School.  Both of her children attended school here.  Though they are now 21 and 23, Cindy elected to stay at St. Matthew’s as a Kindergarten Assistant.  Mrs. Thornton also serves as the Spanish teacher for the Kindergarten. She has enjoyed sharing her love of Spanish with the children for the last six years and looks forward to another fun year.  She has lived in Austin for 32 years, having previously lived in San Antonio.  Cindy is very excited about her enthusiastic kindergarteners!  Her goal is to keep learning fun so the children will never want it to end!
